Whether it is a Birthday Celebration, a Reunion, a Christening, an Engagement Party, a Wedding Reception, a Family Gathering, or simply a Meeting or Product Launch, The Broken Hill Pub has flexible space options available for groups ranging from 20 to 600 guests.

Our Seven Function Area's:

Bistro

Our Bistro is an open and versatile space, perfect for hosting a function any time of the year. Direct access to the Bistro Bar, suitable for all beverages offerings and the biggest screen in Broken Hill. This area works well with progressive largescale functions. Available for exclusive or non-exclusive access.

Front Bar

Our Front Bar has multiple areas to use for your event including cozy booths or sitting around our stunning modern bar. This area can be completed closed off for private functions. Featuring large screens – perfect for sporting events or presentations.

Beer Garden VIP Area

A great area for smaller groups wanting a casual outdoor dedicated area. Located in our Beer Garden, this elevated area can be easily adapted to cater for additional people.

Upstairs Bar and Balcony

Our Upstairs Bar & Balcony is a versatile area with a large private bar which can cater from basic to cocktail beverage service. Seating or standing options are available, or mix and match both options in this large area. Direct access onto our balcony and enjoy panoramic views of Broken Hill. Includes a wall mounted TV. Accessible via elevator or stairs.

Small Balcony & Foyer

The Blonde Room

The Blonde Room – like no other event space in Broken Hill. From the moment you walk through the doors your guests will be in awe of the 2 metre chandelier hanging from the 5.5 metre high ceiling. Since the 1940’s this room has been known for its superior entertaining, special guest dinners and many weddings. Its timeless elegance is the perfect backdrop for your special event or meeting. Accessible via elevator or stairs. This room works hand in hand with our Upstairs Bar & Balcony for larger
or progressive events.

Beer Garden

The largest area in our venue, capable of holding up to 600 people. We have a permanent stage set up (covered) so if you are requiring a band or DJ this is the perfect location. Access to the Beer Garden Bar and the Bistro Bar. Partial weather protection, outdoor heating installed for those cooler day / nights. Available for exclusive or non exclusive access. To the rear of the Beer Garden, we have a large scale vehicle access via the laneway.

Book-A-Function Terms and Conditions

  1. Function Room Preference: Please select your preferred function room from the list provided.
  2. Personal Information: To process your request, we require your name, email address, and phone number.
  3. Event Details: Specify the type of event (e.g., Birthday, Weddings, Corporate Event), the preferred event date, estimated number of guests, and event time.
  4. Additional Services: Indicate if you require decorations and/or audio/visual equipment by answering Yes or No.
  5. Other Requirements/Notes: Feel free to provide any additional requirements or notes regarding your event.
  6. Communication: By submitting this form, you agree to allow our functions personnel to contact you for further details and coordination regarding your function room request.
  7. Confirmation and Availability: Submission of this form does not guarantee the availability of the requested function room. Our functions personnel will reach out to you to confirm the details and discuss availability.
  8. Minimum Spend and Room Hire: Minimum spend and room hire may be required in your chosen function room and will be advised by our functions team.
  9. Booking Confirmation: Your booking will be confirmed once we receive a completed booking form and a deposit is paid. We accept tentative bookings for 3 working days. If this period has lapsed without receiving a completed booking form and deposit paid, the venue reserves the right to cancel the unconfirmed booking and release the date and function room for re-sale.
  10. Flexibility in Accommodating Requests: While we strive to meet your preferences, please understand that certain requests may be subject to availability, and we appreciate your flexibility in the planning process.
